Liverpool City Mission has long been running a city centre café for the city’s homeless.
For various reasons, once our café closed for the pandemic and didn’t reopen.
In 2022, we took over the management of the beautiful Tree of Life café and bookshop in Slater Street. The location offers much in terms of opportunity for gospel work. There are so many opportunities, in fact, we’re taking a little time to work out what we ought to do first and what the plan will be longer term.
For now, the café at Slater Street remains closed – but what this space.
